Linda Luyet

Linda is a life long resident of Conway, Arkansas. She is a member of the Conway League of Artists and has served as President, Vice President and Publicity Chairperson. She is also a member of The Mid-Southern Watercolorists.

Linda’s interest in art began at a young age. Her subjects are primarily florals, landscapes and abstracts. She works in watercolor and oil. At different stages in her life she focused mainly on one media. For a period she worked exclusively in oil and studied with Gene Hatfield. In another period she worked exclusively in watercolor and studied with Sheila Parsons. Today she works in both media

Linda is also an experienced picture framer and has owned Frameworks Custom Framing & Fine Art in Conway since 1991. She regularly attends the Décor Art and Framing Expo, the largest decorative art and framing show in the world and has studied design, framing and especially matting techniques with industry experts such as Vivian Kistler, Tim Franer, Paul McFarland and Nona Powers. Her ability as an artist along with her years of experience and training in framing enhances her ability as a designer of custom picture framings.
